Bellas house

Jacob knocked on Bella's door loudly.

Bella was preparing dinner for Charlie when she heard the knock. She jumped for a second shocked and then went to the door and opened it. "Hey," she said as she saw it was Jacob. What was he doing here? Had he found out about Edward, she thought to herself.

Alice was on her way to Bella's house too but then stopped once about a hundred feet away. Her nose crumpled up, 'Warewolf' she thought listening in with her ears to the house, hidden behind trees now.

"hey, long time no see" Jacob said smiling. Then he sniffed and looked around. "Come out you blood suckers!" Jacob shouted

Bella looked little reluctant as she let him in, "Whom are you calling that name to?" she asked angry.

Edward emerged from Bella's room where he had been awaiting her. "I think he means Alice and I." He said smoothly "What was it you want do." He paused and corrected himself not wanting to hurt Bella's feelings, "Jacob?"

Jacob looked at Edward loathingly. "I was just here to see Bella, got a problem with it?" he replied rudely

Alice came out from where she was. "Then you wont mind us listening in?" she asked looking at him as she leaned against the wall.

Edward looked at Jacob meaningfully. "No need to be rude. We're all..." said Edward pausing for a minute looking at Jacob "well we you at least try to be civilised about this."

"Hmm since you blood suckers are so civilised.." Jacob scowled while covering his nose. "If it werent for the truce..."

"Hey, you stink just as bad as we do." Alice reminded him not convering her nose. "At least we are somewhat polite." she rolled her eyes.

Edward just smiled at Jacob with an inquisitive look. "Well Jacob? What is it you came here to say." He said loking at Jacob until he started laughing. "Oh.. Ok then you might as well say it. Just spit it out." He said straightening his face and stopping laughing.

jacob glared at Edward angrily. "Stop doing that." he said scowling and looking at Alice. "Hmph. Its likr a bloodsucker party here. I think Ill be going. Bye" Jacob said shortly to Bella. Then he ran towards the forest.

Bella stared at Jacob's figure as it disappeared in the forest. She was utterly confused and looked at Edward waiting for an explanation.

Edward tried not to laugh and luckily succeded. "Sorry Bella. I think you need to ask him yourself. I wouldn't want to spoil anything. Anyway. I'll be waiting." He said pointing upstairs and running out the front door.

Alice agreed. "I'm going back to the coven if he's waiting for you." she sighed. "I'll the the cub you're waiting for him to come back."

"Ok then. Bye." Said Edward waving to his sister.
