Biology Class

As Edward entered class he took a seat and watched as the other students entered and filled all the seats except the one next to him.

Bella hurried up as she had already gotten late on her first day. She went up to the class and with a quick apology to the teacher she passed her slip to him. The teacher told him to go and sit beside the empty place near Edward Cullen. Her every muscle stiffened. She got very nervous as she walked down and took a sit beside Edward not looking at him.

Edward sat there listening to the teachers lecture when a girl entered. It was THE girl. He stiffened and every muscle could not realx as he realised with a pang of fear that the onlyremaining seat was next to him.

Bella got really confused again as she felt Edward stiffen and she leaned on the side of her desk and looked at him. She saw him fuming with anger and looked away quickly letting her hair down her left side and creating a curtain between them two.

As her hair fell he was forced yet again to take on a full nose of her scent. It was driving him crazy All he could think abput was ways to lure her out of the class. To get her alone. But he managed to fight it back and just resolved to cling to the edge of his chair. Hoping his torture would end.

Bella remained all stiff, nervous and confused during the class. Just then, after what seemed like hours to her the bell rang.

Just as the bell rang Edward jumped from his chair. Striding quickly and gracefully out the door. His mind set on what he would have to do now.

Bella stared open-mouthed at Edward and it was for a swish second that he vanished from the door. Feeling utterly bemused and confused she started to take her things and packed her bag. Next was Gym, Bella thought, she hated this subject. She always got herself hurt during this class. She took her things and looked again at the door.

It was the next day and Bella arrived little earlier than Edward today. She sat on the chair and thought about how again she had to feel the furious gazes of Edward. She was still confused that how a boy had hated her instantly without even knowing her, she felt like to cry.

As Edward enetered the room he saw the new girl in her spot next to him. "Bella right?" He asked with a toothy grin. "I must apologize for my behaviour up until now. Sorry."

Bella looked up to see whose that musical voice belonged too. She saw Edward and her muscles went stiff, "How-how do you know my name?" she blurted out.

"Well everyone has been talking about your arrival for a while now so..." He said with another toothy grin.

So I had been a topic of gossip, Bella thought to herself.

"I mean why did you call me Bella?" she asked him.

"Well" He stopped momentarily "I've heard the others say it. I ca call you Isabella if you want. I just heard you tell your friends it. It makes no difference though" Another pause, "Isabella."

"No, you can call me Bella," Bella said. Thankfully, at that time Mr. Banner started the class and they had to do slides today.

Edward looked at Bella with a grin "Do you want to go first? Or shall I?" He asked

Bella looked foolishly at Edward his grin leaving her breathless again. "No, I could start," she stammered and started to work. Soon she did three out of five slides and they were right. She remembered doing them in her old school.

Edward just stared at her. Astounded by how fast she was. As he looked around he saw that they were the only pair finished. Mr. Banner saw Edward and Bella talking so he came to check them and to his surprise he saw all were done. As he asked Edward had done all the work hr replied. "No sir. Actually Bella did 3 out of 5 of th slides." He said looking at Bella

Mr Banner asked Bella if she had done this lab before and she replied with a yes. She looked at Edward as the teacher passed to other students, and noticed that his eyes were goldne coloured instead of black. "Do you have contacts?" she blurted out.

Edward looked over at her with an inquisitive look. "What do you mean?" He asked with a small grin.

"I thought you had," Bella said curiously as she had saw his eyes black before. Was he lying? She thought to herself.

Edwrad loked away from Bella before she got a big glance. All of a sudden his urges were kicking in and he needed to go. But he remained as nice as possible for the remainder of class.

The bell rang and Bella felt Edward's muscled stiffen again. She looked at him nervously as she started to pile up her things.

Edward noticed her stiffen and looked at her. "I'll walk you to gym?" He asked standing up from his chair.

"Sure," Bella said hopefully. They went up and strode towards the Gym.
