Alice looked at Edward she wondered why he looked kind of worried about Bella. Then she looked at the new girl beside Bella and nodded. Her skin was pale and she didn't have a scent that Alice could get as a humans. 'Vampire' she though. She leaned in towards Edward, "Is she like us, or not?" she asked as she couldn't see anything.

Kit kept staring at Alice and Edward interestadly.

Bella looked up as Jessica told that Edward was beckoning to her. She looked at Edward, went red in the face and walked over to sit at their table. "Hey," she said sheepishly.

Edward lowered his voice so that no-one but Alice her and himself could hear. "I think it is time we go. The danger of you staying here is extreme we really need to go." He said with an edge of panice in his voice. As he said this he caught a thought from the other one about how good Bella smelt. With more panic in his voice he said "Now. Right now."

Alice looked over to the girl and then to Edward. "Just calm down, i'm gonna go see if I can find anything out about her." she told him as she walked over to where Kit was sitting. "Hey, I don't think we've met. I'm Alice, Alice Cullen." she introduced herself in a sing-song like voice as she sat down.

As Edward sat there with Bella he grabbed her and wrapped his arms around her as if to protect her if things went bad.

"Hi.." Kit said looking at her expectantly. "What do you want?"

Alice looked at her not put down but the bad mood of Kit. "I don't know, to know why a non-vegatarian is in a school filled with food." she said casually making sure not to use the words humans in a sentence that talked about eating with many in earshot. SHe hoped Kit was smart enough to get the message.

Bella looked confusedly around at Kit, and understood she was a vampire. She tried to catch in the word "non-vegetarian" and got it that it meant she fed on human. She stared at her for a long moment.

Edward glared for a second at Kit then looked at Bella "I think it's time we left." He said standing up holding his hand out to her.

'If Bella wants to listen in, let her Edward.' she thought as she knew Edward was still trying to get Bella to leave.

'Trying to live like you people" Kit sreplied to alice innocently

"But you feed on them, is it really safe?" she asked.

Kit shook her head and looked around. "Keep quiet. And i used to feed on himans ,however, I like the way you live. Its peaceful and Carlisle says i can stay here. As long as I dont feed on humans," Kit replied quietly

"Your part of our coven?" she asked confused. She had heard or seen nothing about this.
